Hamedan

The world biggest water cave.

There are two main attractions in Hamedan, and both are historically important. The first one is “Ali Sard Cave,” situated in western Iran. It is a water cave formed within a mountain, and it is one of the world’s largest water caves. The cave is renowned for its extensive network of subterranean rivers and channels. Ali Sadr also has the longest cave-sailing route in the world. Visitors explore the cave by boat, allowing them to navigate through the underground waterways. The cave’s height is 2100 meters above sea level. The second is Abu Ali Sina’s shrine, also known as Avicenna, who was a polymath and one of the most significant figures in the history of medicine, philosophy, and science in the Islamic Golden Age.
