Gonbad-e Soltanieh, a UNESCO heritage site (also known as Gonbade Qabus), is a historic monument located in Soltanieh. The construction of Gonbad-e Qabus began in 1302 and was completed in 1312. It was commissioned by the Ilkhanid ruler known as Sultan Mohammad Khodabandeh. The tower is adorned with intricate brickwork, including geometric patterns. The dome of the tower is considered a marvel of engineering with its double-shell dome. This future kept the dome standing until now. Gonbad-e Soltanieh is the biggest dome made of bricks in the world.
